A brief history of how I got here.

I worked in the fashion industry as a product developer for nine years before I launched my brand on Shopify in 2015. I grew my brand to 6-figures in roughly 16 months via D2C and retail/wholesale. At one point, I was producing private-label programs for ​SoulCycle​. That was the highlight! 

Then I burned out…

It was a hard decision to make, but I ultimately decided to take a break from my brand. I'm proud that I scaled it, but I was running out of money!

I was supposed to take a few months off. Instead, I started writing content for Shopify because why not? Sharing my experience with fellow Shopify merchants was fun — and maybe therapeutic.

My hands-on experience as an ecommerce merchant and retail professional provides a unique perspective. I’ve taken a walk in your customers’ shoes.

I’m also a (very) occasional photographer and am usually cooking up some sort of side project — this is my latest.
