Alexis Mera Damen is a Dutch-American writer from New York, now living in Amsterdam. By day, she crafts content strategies and writes for tech companies. By night, she writes and edits The Cool Aunt on Substack, a lifestyle newsletter for 40-ish women still figuring it out. She’s also an aspiring essayist, with a byline in HuffPost—and hopefully more to come. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her on the padel court, traveling, or learning to draw and paint.
